Jericho FAQ
Optimally, who would be a part of a Jericho Partnership?
As many leaders on a campus as possible should be a part of a Jericho Partnership. This would include campus ministry leaders, but may also involve faculty, staff, and local church leaders.
Where do Jericho Partnership work best?
Three questions to ask regarding the feasibility of a partnership are:
- Is God leading Collegiate Impact and the local campus ministries to work together on such an endeavor?
- Are there “champions” of campus transformation on campus?
- Is there a spirit of openness among various leaders, faculty, and ministries to work together?
Why is the partnership’s duration 1 to 2 academic years?
The length of a Jericho Partnership allows a community on campus to wait on the Lord and gives freedom for Him to operate as He wills and on His schedule. It is important to shift away from the mindset that a one day event or weeklong emphasis will bring deep, broad, sustainable transformation.
What is Collegiate Impact’s role in the partnership?
Jericho Partnerships are largely Spirit and message driven instead of event or program driven. Collegiate Impact’s role is to assist in bringing the biblical message relating to transformation to campus ministries. The body of Christ on campus will be encouraged by an awareness of the biblical underpinnings of renewal and offered practical steps to attract the presence of God.
How is the partnership funded?
Partnership’s costs vary based on the couse of action determined by the partnering ministries and geographic location. Collegiate Impact covers half the cost and the other half is covered by the partnering minsitries.
